San Lorenzo is the best of the five...
We had a lovely time in the Algarve and our golf holiday went very smoothly. We played five courses over the five days and all the courses were very nice indeed. The consensus is that San Lorenzo is the best of the five but my favourite is the Vale the Lobo Royal. Vale de Lobo Ocean is also a very nice course.

A far cry from your typical Algarve golf course...
The Oceanico Victoria Course seems to have been designed with tournament golf very much in mind and as such it’s a far cry from your typical Algarve golf course. Where you’d usually find rows of umbrella pines lining the fairways, there are American style mounds, big bunkers and even bigger water hazards. And that is no bad thing because, as they say, variety is the spice of life. Oceanico Victoria certainly brings that to the Algarve.
