Golf Tours in Scotland

More Details

Your golf tour in Scotland will allow you to experience a collection of the world’s most iconic and sought after championship courses, most of which are strung along the rugged coastline of the ‘home of golf’. No other destination in the golfing world inspires such excitement as Scotland, packed with outstanding links courses that are combined to offer once-in-a-lifetime golf travel experiences.

Choose from one region or combine Scotland’s golfing centres for a comprehensive golf tour that ticks all of your boxes. Many of our clients build their itineraries around guaranteed tee times on the Old Course, St Andrews, the undisputed historic highlight of a golfing pilgrimage to the land where the game began. Guaranteed times carry a premium, so we are also more than happy to help make arrangements for your party to be entered into the daily ballot for Old Course times; these tee slots are released two days in advance, and your other pre-booked times can be rescheduled in the event of success.

From St Andrews, why not head north and take in the uncompromising but brilliant Championship Course at Carnoustie, and continue up the coast to the likes of Cruden Bay and Royal Aberdeen, before seeing what all the fuss is about at the Trump International Golf Links. Alternatively, head up the A9, stopover at Gleneagles and play the 2014 Ryder Cup course on route to play golf in the Highlands, where Castle Stuart and Royal Dornoch are just two of a wonderful collection of courses. You will also enjoy the added bonus of the area’s astonishing natural beauty, and the chance to visit one of our recommended whisky distilleries.

Or, explore Edinburgh, the historic capital city, before tackling the less well heralded gems of East Lothian: Gullane and Kilspindie to name just a pair. Many links golf aficionados will opt for Scotland’s supposedly warmer west coast, where the Open Championship leaves an impressive footprint courtesy of Royal Troon and the majestic Ailsa Course at Trump Turnberry. Stay in style at Turnberry and cast a relatively small net over some of the world’s very finest seaside golf, characteristic of Scotland as a golfing destination of unrivalled repute.

Scotland’s top class championship links courses are too numerous for a single trip (unless you’re particularly ambitious) so compile your hit list and allow us to build you a custom golf tour itinerary that is yours alone.
